Social Media sites are made for people to keep in-touch with others, it is supposed to be a positive thing to be able to share what you're doing with your friends, however a lot of what happens online is negative behaviour, most of this negative behaviour comes from younger people aged 12 to 20. This is because it's a way of making a 'trend'. Once someone post something and people like it then it becomes a what is called a 'trend', which means it's popular and prominent. What is put online may seem like a harmless thing but to the victim it could be really hurtful and can lead to depression. Cyber bulling can also be anonymous which is the most effective and most hurtful way of cyber bullying in my opinion. This is because the victim has no idea who it could be, it could be a complete stranger or their best friend. It's the most effective because it is hard to report bullying online when it is anonymous. Examples of these sites are: Yik yak, Ask.fm and Tumblr.

- Feeling Depressed and/or Loneliness - Because the victim feels that they have no support and don't know who to turn to.
- Increase/Decrease in Sleep and/or Eating - This can be caused by stress, eating is often a way people cope with loneliness/depression.
- Skip or Drop out of School - This very common because the victim feels that this is their way of removing themselves from the situation.
- Poor grades - Often the victim will stop applying themselves at school because they are already trying to cope with their personal stress.
- Use Alcohol and Drugs - This is because it's another way of copping and a stress reliever.
